McLaren Technologies Partners with SoftBank Robotics Australia and Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Convention Centre to Deliver Smarter Hotel Operations in Western Sydney

PENRITH, NSW, October 23, 2025 – McLaren Technologies has partnered with SoftBank Robotics Australia and Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Convention Centre to bring advanced automation to one of Western Sydney’s most exciting new destinations. The installation of two Gausium Phantas Robots and one Gausium Vacuum 40 Robot marks a major step forward in delivering smarter, more sustainable hotel operations.

Situated beside the Western Sydney Convention Centre, Pullman Sydney Penrith has quickly become a hub for business and leisure in the region. With its contemporary design, premium amenities and strong local focus, the hotel sets a new benchmark for service and innovation — making it the ideal environment for next-generation cleaning technology.

The Phantas Robots, known for their four-in-one autonomous cleaning capabilities — vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting — will help maintain spotless public areas across the hotel.

Complementing them, the Vacuum 40 Robot provides high-performance vacuuming for high-traffic spaces such as lobbies and corridors, ensuring consistent presentation and hygiene throughout the day.

This deployment reflects the strength of partnership between McLaren Technologies, a leader in hospitality technology solutions across the Asia Pacific, and SoftBank Robotics, a global innovator in commercial cleaning automation.

“At Pullman Sydney Penrith, we’re committed to delivering exceptional service through innovation,” said Charlie Young, General Manager of Pullman Sydney Penrith. “The integration of robotics not only elevates our hygiene and presentation standards but also empowers our team to focus on what truly matters – creating memorable guest experiences. We’re proud to work with McLaren Technologies to lead the way in smart hospitality.”

Matthew White, CEO of McLaren Technologies, added: “We’re delighted to support Pullman Sydney Penrith in adopting SoftBank Robotics solutions that optimise efficiency and enhance the guest journey. This project showcases how collaboration between technology providers and hospitality leaders can drive smarter, safer, and more sustainable operations.”

“We’re excited to see Pullman Sydney Penrith embracing the future of hospitality through automation and robotics,” said Yutaro Kotaki, General Manager of SoftBank Robotics Australia. “Our solutions are designed to complement human services, empowering hotel teams to deliver even greater value to guests.“

With its forward-looking approach, Pullman Sydney Penrith continues to redefine modern hospitality in Western Sydney— now combining modern luxury with the power of intelligent automation, to deliver a cleaner, greener, and more connected guest experience.
