Minibarmaster is an innovative, electronic system designed to record, manage, report and post minibar sales.

Developed in Australia by Electronics By Design, Minibarmaster offers numerous productivity benefits and cost savings, in comparison to the traditional pen and paper systems used in many hotels today.

Minibar uses a wireless Palm handheld device to record minibar usage in each room. As soon as sales are recorded on the handheld by minibar staff, they are posted to the PMS directly from the floors and are immediately charged to the guest account.

Minibarmaster is sold as a complete solution and contains all components supplied and installed as a fully working system. Minibarmaster does not require a dedicated computer. Any computer meeting the minimum system requirements will be suitable to run the system.

A mandatory requirement of Minibarmaster is the purchase of the Smart Interface, which allows sales to be electronically posted to the guest room account. Postings can be done directly from the handhelds while checking rooms. The Smart Interface will also calculate variances if rooms are vacated, and post these to the denials account.
