Cisco Digital Media Manager
The Cisco Digital Media Manager is a Web-based media management application that enables content owners to easily manage, schedule, and publish digital media to digital signage displays (Cisco Digital Signage) and through the Web to the desktop (Cisco Desktop Video). The simplicity of the Cisco Digital Media Manager enables non-technical departmental users - such as human resources, education, safety and security, PR, or sales and marketing - to reach their target audiences without relying on network or IT groups for support. This accelerates the delivery of information while at the same time decreases overall cost of distributing communications and relieves the burden on IT.
The Web-based Cisco Digital Media System takes advantage of the Cisco Service-Oriented Network Architecture (SONA), an architectural framework that helps enterprises use existing infrastructure to develop an intelligent information network that supports new IP services and capabilities, including Web services, collaboration, and infrastructure virtualization.
