McLaren Technologies behind intuitive service at Sydney’s tech-savvy PARKROYAL Darling Harbour

Monday, 20th August 2013 – Hot on the heels of its impressive multi-million dollar hotel makeover in March, the PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney has now completed an equally impressive service solutions installation, making it one of Australia’s most technologically advanced hotels – both front and back of house.

To manage the final instalment of its widely acclaimed ‘high-tech’ renovation, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney commissioned Asia Pacific’s leading provider of intuitive guest tracking and task management solutions, McLaren International.

McLaren installed two different but complementary service systems at PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney – HotSOS, provided by software and hardware solutions developer MTech, and REX.

A preventative maintenance and task management system, the automated HotSOS solution is McLaren’s choice of product for hotels looking to enhance and better resolve service orders and guest requests intuitively.

Housekeeping management solution REX is also one of the industry’s most progressive tech tools, the first of its kind to streamline the entire room assignment and cleaning process. REX optimises the order in which rooms are allocated, arming attendants with Apple iPod Touch Handheld technology and integrated smart PMS to ultimately ensure that guests access their rooms faster, and with less fuss.
